The Yaquina Art Association Photographers (YAAP) is a photography club located  at the beautiful central Oregon coast. We are a group of photographers dedicated to the pursuit of photographic excellence while providing a friendly atmosphere conducive to sharing, learning and improvement of our photographic skills.

Our mission is to encourage and help members to share, teach, learn, and grow as photographers. The Club offers the fellowship of photographers, promotes education, personal growth, and the enjoyment of photography.

Membership

All members of the community are invited to join YAAP. You do not have to be a member of Yaquina Art Association in order to join. Our membership spans all levels from beginner to professional. Anyone with a passion for photography is invited. Learn more about joining YAAP.

Meetings

The club meets every first and third Mondays of the month, excluding July. The meetings start at 7pm and currently are being held online due to covid-19 restrictions. For online connection information, visit the program announcement on the home page.

The meetings are open to the public, and visitors are always welcome. Please feel free to stop by and say hi!

Program Nights

Each month we have Program Night where we invite special guests to speak on photographic topics of interest to our members.

Exhibitions

All YAAP and YAA members have an opportunity to showcase their work at the annual photography show. Also members can display and sell their work at the Yaquina Art Gallery (YAA membership required).

YAAP is a subsidiary of Yaquina Arts Association. We’re also affiliated with the Photographic Society of America (PSA) thru the regional Columbia Council of Camera Clubs (4Cs). These relationships allow participating members’ ideas, techniques, inspirations, and judging of their art to be shared with other photographers throughout the region.
